🎨 A Fantastic Creative Afternoon for Year 10 Art! Our Art Department had the pleasure of welcoming Charles from Mandinga Arts for an inspiring Year 10 workshop exploring creative industries and future career pathways. Mandinga Arts, known for their vibrant carnival-inspired costumes, masks and performance pieces, blend theatre, dance and visual arts to create bold, imaginative work seen at festivals and cultural events across the UK. Pupils had the opportunity to handle Mandinga’s incredible headpieces and costumes, learning about the design process before sketching ideas for their own creations. The room was buzzing with colour, curiosity and creativity — a truly fantastic afternoon enjoyed by all! ✨ FREE OPPORTUNITY for Year 10 Art Students! If pupils would like to take part in the free 2 day Mandinga Arts workshops held in school on 6 and 7 June, please contact Mrs Morris, Head of Art. All information has been sent home with students.

A huge well done to all our Cromwell students in Years 7–10 who represented the school at the District Athletics Fixture! They performed brilliantly throughout the day, showing great effort, teamwork, and determination. The year 8's came first and beat all the other schools including the private schools in their overall results 🎉 We’re very proud to have finished second among the state schools- an excellent achievement. Students should all be incredibly proud of themselves.

Cromwell is a MHST (Mental Health Support Team) school, therefore young people aged 13-18 years, or parents/carers on behalf of a primary or secondary phase child, can make a self-referral to the MHST for support with mental health difficulties. See below for more details ⬇

Our U13 girls performed brilliantly this morning at the cricket tournament held at Cottenham Cricket Club, winning 2 out of their 3 games! 🏏 Their teamwork and communication throughout the morning were excellent, alongside some very impressive batting and fielding skills on display. The girls represented the school superbly and should be very proud of their performances!

Today was Sports Day for our Primary Phase! It began with a Mario Kart teacher race while parents enjoyed a picnic lunch with their children on the field, followed by a round robin of sporting activities, pupil races, parent races and toddler races!! 🏃‍♀️☀️⚽️🤾‍♂️ We were so impressed by the brilliant teamwork and the support and encouragement pupils gave each other! The winning team of the day was the🟡team with 635 points. 2nd was the🟢team with 600 points. The🔴team took 3rd place with 585 points, closely followed by the 🔵team with 565 points. A big thank you to Mrs Boyden for organising the day and the Year 10 students who did a fantastic job of supporting the children. Well done to everyone involved!
